The
Methods of Escape public project, commissioned by FRED ‘08 asked the
public to respond to the question “What is your method of escape?”
in person, by text or on the website. I hand drew each response. Drawings
were converted into digital files, printed and displayed on billboards,
bus signs, telephone booths, beer coasters, displayed in shop windows,
the local ferry and railway lines throughout the North of England,
